  I remember getting a bag of second hand clothes from a family in the cong that wasn't doing very well. Shortly after that our family began having "demon problems" and my mom made me get rid of the clothes b/c they were demonized. Uh huh.

  We also had to get rid of our original house key b/c the elders and my parents decided that the previous owners of our house were having sayonces (sorry, I cannot spell this word!) in our basement and that accounted for the severe problems we were having as a family. I remember thinking at the time this was the most crazy thing I had ever heard. Wouldn't the whole house be affected, not just the key??? Getting rid of the key would solve our problems? The problem was that my mom is a lunatic and my parents were having marital problems b/c the only reason they stayed together was b/c of the religeon (parents admitted this to me).

  I can't even believe the crap that the JW's are willing to believe!

  Is Pedophilia Really A Huge Problem With Jehovah's Witnesses?

  jws say they are clean and pure and undefiled and not like the world but in reality there are those that do very evil things and they either have fallen through the cracks, have gotten disciplined or disfellowshipped.. we realize that just because a person says they are a christian, it doesn't mean they will always act like one.. regarding pedophiles, do you believe that jws have a huge problem involving an infestation of pedos?

  I'm not sure that there is more of a problem with pedophilia among the JW's than in other groups. The problem is their method of dealing with it!! That is truly disgusting!

  I think Sherri is an idiot! Anyone who makes such flip comments about abortion just adds to the testimony that she is not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer. Now I will say that I
  AM pro-choice - and if she or anyone else makes these decisions I will not judge. I haven't in the past and I won't in the future. I'm just saying that she should be a little more sensitive when dealing with certain subject matters! Your allowed to have your own opinions and make your own decisions certainly; but please do not be so insensitive to the human race, its just insulting to your own intelligence!

  should the purpose of a board to be to give the person needed help and then the person should just move on?.

  i've been away from jwd for a month or so.

  i've just been busy in life and am trying to rebuild, or should i say, make new friendships but it is slow-going.

  missinglink and i haven't been to any meetings since april and have no plans in going back.

  Sorry you are having a "down" day! Please try to remember that they are doing what they have been brain-washed to do. It isn't really against YOU as a person specifically, they would do it to anyone in your position. I know it hurts, it really does. We can all vouch for that...
